Midare Kumiko’ has used a pattern of ‘Mitsukude Kumiko’ as a base and applies Japanese traditional pattern; hemp plant and sesame, and each side has different graphic and show the plants as fluttering down. This innovative design shows Kumiko is not only applied in 2 dimensionally but 3 dimensionally also. It was a great challenge for craftsmen to continue the pattern on every side; however the result of the lamp is very unique.
Taking Japanese traditional kumiko technique into modern space. There are 3 different sizes (large, medium, small) are available.
