Living space surrounded by greens and flowers make you feel happy. It does not have to involve serious gardening; just some cut flowers on a dining table would heal you. In Japan, we have a traditional flower arrangement called Ikebana, and it is different from European one, because they are not only looking at colorful flowers, but also admiring entire elements include branches, trunk, leaves and moss on the soil. There are very strict rules and school of Ikebana, and the companies thought some people might enjoy the flower arrangement without rules in their own way. From that reason, they have produced a new flower vase ‘IKEDAMA’. It has an organic shape that looks like a stone from the street.
It is cast aluminum and the surface is slightly rough with silver colouring. There are some holes on top and you could arrange flowers whatever you want. The ideas are limitless; growing moss, putting ball shaped moss, and planting seeds in the hole. You could enjoy your way of flower arrangement. The aluminum silver surface will reflect beautifully the colourful flowers and green leaves. Because ‘IKEDAMA’ has such an understatement and calm shape, and it will have a subtle presence when you arrange flowers and greens.
